2025 will mark the 55th Young Musicians Concerto Competition (YMCC) for the Hamden Symphony Orchestra. The Hamden Symphony Orchestra has organized the YMCC to give talented students the opportunity to perform a solo work with the orchestra. To be eligible the student must reside, attend school and/or study with a teacher in Connecticut, and have not yet graduated from high school.

 

The 2025 YMCC will be held on Saturday, February 1st, with a snow date of February 8th.
